전통예술공연작품 ‘진연(進宴)’

제례부터 정악, 산조, 현대음악까지 대한민국의 전통예술을 한 번에 경험하실 수 있습니다.
멋스런 풍류방에서 예술가와 손 닿을 듯 마주 앉아 공연을 감상하고, 담소를 나눕니다.

길제(吉祭)

– 예부터 좋은 일을 앞두고 이를 기원하기 위해 지내는 제사의식 중 하나로 본격적인 연주에 앞서 선보입니다.
– 한국 전통 의식으로 모두에게 평안함과 안녕, 행복을 염원합니다.

진연(進宴)

– 귀한 손님을 모시고 오랜 시간 지켜온 전통음악을 연주합니다.
– 정악(正樂) : ‘바른 음악’으로 조선시대 궁중이나 상류사회에서 격식을 갖추고 연주되는 음악을 보여드립니다.
– 산조(散調) :‘흐트러진 음악’으로 선비들의 개성과 감정 표현을 담아 연주했던 독주곡을 연주합니다.

화합(化合)

– 손님과 예술가가 함께 공연을 즐기는 시간입니다.
– 민요(民謠) :‘백성의 음악’이라는 뜻으로 고려시대(10~13세기)부터 구전을 통해 서민들 사이에서 불리던 노래입니다.
– 대중음악(大衆音樂) : 세계 각 나라의 민요들과 오늘날의 다채로운 한국음악들을 지지대악의 색깔로 선보입니다.

Traditional Performing Arts Showcase: Jinyeon (進宴)

Experience the full spectrum of Korean traditional arts in one performance—
from ceremonial court music to jjeongak(court music), sanjo(instrumental solo improvisation), and contemporary reinterpretations.

Set in a beautifully styled pungnyubang(a traditional room for music and gatherings),
you’ll sit close to the performers, enjoy an intimate performance, and even share conversation with the artists.

Gilje (Opening Blessing Ceremony)

– A traditional Korean rite performed before important events to wish for good fortune.
– We begin each performance with this symbolic ritual, offering peace, well-being, and happiness to all.

Jinyeon (The Banquet Performance)

– A musical offering for honored guests, featuring classical repertoire handed down for generations.
– Jeongak(“Right Music”): Formal and refined court music once performed in the royal court and upper class society during the Joseon Dynasty.
– Sanjo(“Scattered Melodies”): Expressive solo instrumental music reflecting the spirit and individuality of Korean scholars and artists.

Together in Harmony

– An interactive segment where guests and artists share music and joy together
– Minyo(Folk Songs): Songs of the common people, orally passed down since the Goryeo period (10th–13th century).
– Popular Music: Jijidaeak presents folk songs from around the world and contemporary Korean music in their own unique style.
